"La culture numérique, comme on l'affirme aujourd'hui, est-elle vraiment le latin du XXIe siècle, à savoir le pivot essentiel pour l'instruction, la recherche avancée et la politique culturelle ? La technologie numérique exerce une influence profonde sur les sciences humaines. Ils sont là où se trouve leur public. Au début, c’étaient des sites Web, aujourd’hui ce sont les médias sociaux, en particulier Instagram, quand il s’agit d’art visuel. Depuis les premiers artistes du web des années 1990 et l’engouement pour l’art post-Internet, une nouvelle génération d’artistes répond désormais explicitement aux médias sociaux et à leur contenu et développe de nouvelles méthodes de travail et formes d’expression artistique innovantes. À son tour, Social Media Art s’empare de l’utopie du Net Art, avec la capacité de démocratiser le monde de l’art. The scarcity of resources, climate change, and the digitalization of everyday life are fuelling the economy of swapping, sharing, and lending - all of which are in some way linked to a culture of commoning. In this context, we understand commons as community-based processes that use, collectively manage, and organize generally accessible resources - referring to both goods and knowledge. Commons in Design explores the meaning and impact of commons - especially knowledge-based peer commons - and acts of commoning in design. It discusses networked, participatory, and open procedures based on the commons and commoning, testing models that negotiate the use of commons within design processes. In doing so, it critically engages with questions regarding designers’ positionings, everyday practices, self-understandings, ways of working, and approaches to education.

But what are the wider effects of whistleblowing as an act of dissent on politics, society, and the arts? How does it contribute to new courses of action, digital tools, and contents?
